The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Teacherâ€™s Marital Satisfaction
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and teachersâ€™ marital satisfaction. The statistical population of the study included all male and female teachers of the city of Bandar Abbas in2014-15 academic years. The research sample consisted of 50 teachers (25 female and 25 male). Shootsâ€™ Emotional Intelligence and marital satisfaction questionnaires were the data collection tools. Mean, standard deviation and Pearson correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between the dimensions of emotional intelligence and teachersâ€™ marital satisfaction. Accordingly, the emotional intelligence is a proper predictor of teachersâ€™ marital satisfaction.
