The use of information technology and Youth and Sports Department and Sports boards

Abstract


The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between IT use and performance of the Department of Sport and Youth and Sports teams in the city of Bandar Abbas (in Iran). The study population included all employees working in the Youth and Sports Department and Sports Boards of the city of Bandar Abbas in 2015. The research sample consisted of 201 patients who were randomly selected using stratified sampling method. Field study was the method of collecting data through standard questionnaires. The data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient. The results showed that among the aspects of organizational performance and organizational effectiveness at r= 0.885, employee satisfaction r= 0.880, customer satisfaction r=0.768 and financial aspects r= 0.689 have a positive and meaningful relationship with the use of technology information. So, the use of information technology can improve the performance of Youth and Sports Department and Sports Boards.
