Abstract
Â
Facility pending is resulted from weak and baseless credibility measurement criteria, ineffective adopted policies, acceptance of risk regardless of the bank's capital constraints, and wrong performance indicators. Some banks settle the delayed debts and the past maturity of their customers by granting new facilities. This will not only lead to false increase in the statistics of granted facilities of their branches that is also considered as a credit for them, but also causes putting a lid on the true extent of the bank's claims. Hence, this research aims at identifying organizational factors influencing the bad debts at the Fund of Mehr Imam Reza (A.S) in Iran. The study population is all staff of Mehr Imam Reza (A.S) Fund in Hormozgan province. Since the population number (65 subjects) was limited, census method has been used to conduct the research. Required data have been extracted through field method using a structured interview based on the Delphi model. Results showed that among human resources, expert and unremitting personnel and trained human resources play the most important role. Among the organization strategies, lack of encouraging the creditworthy borrowers and the formation of Board of Directors with state managers are the most significant factors regard to the organization strategy. Lack of identified database that is accountable for borrowers and the lack of required tools for querying the status of the borrower and the borrower's financial ability are the most important factors related to the organization technology.
