Comparing Customer Satisfaction with Public and Private Indoor Swimming Pools

Abstract


The aim of this study was to compare customer satisfaction with public and private indoor swimming pools. The statistical population of the study was all customers of public and private swimming pools in Bandar Abbas in Iran. The study sample was selected from among those who had at least 6 months of membership in these centers. Pools’ customer satisfaction questionnaire of Alidoust Ghahfarokhi and colleagues (2009) was the research information gathering tool. Multivariate analysis of variance was used to analyze the data. Results of this study showed that there is a significant difference between the customers of public pools and private pools’ satisfaction in social content, pool’s health, equipment and gym, human factors, training programs, cost and fees and in fact customers are more satisfied with private pools.
