Investigating the relationship between the professional ethics of managers and the participation and career motivation of elementary school teachers

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between professional ethics and participation and job motivation of primary school teachers in the city. The research method in terms of practical purpose and in terms of data collection method is descriptive of correlation type. The statistical sample in this research was 1500 Iranian elementary school teachers who were selected based on random cluster sampling method and using Morgan's table and Cochran's formula. The tools used in this research include three standard professional ethics questionnaires of Bahagir (2011), with 34 questions, occupational motivation questionnaire of Hackman and Oldham (1976), with 15 questions, and Keeshtmand (2012), participation questionnaire with 20 questions. Multivariate regression analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis and Spearman's correlation coefficient were used for statistical analysis. The findings of the research showed that most of the teachers reported the level of professional ethics of their school administrators at a high level. The results of the statistical analysis of the data show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the professional ethics of managers and participation and job motivation in primary school teachers.
